Unitel Engineering to Invest 1.3 Billion Rubles in Expanding Production in Cheboksary
Unitel Engineering (part of the NEC Group) is investing 1.3 billion rubles in expanding and modernizing its production facility in Cheboksary. The company signed a corresponding agreement with the Investment Development Agency of the Chuvash Republic at the 16th Cheboksary Economic Forum.
The investment program is designed for five years. During this time, the company will construct an administrative building, an engineering center, a new production building, and conduct a comprehensive modernization of its existing facilities. This will create 150 new jobs and significantly expand the company's production capabilities.
The signing of the agreements is a logical continuation of the company's systematic development efforts following its merger with the NEK Group. In April 2025, in the presence of Oleg Nikolaev, Head of the Chuvash Republic, the company opened a new production facility in Cheboksary, which also increased production volumes and created new jobs.
Unitel Engineering specializes in the development, production, and maintenance of high-tech equipment for the automation of process systems in the electric power industry and industrial power supply. The company's products are supplied to power generation facilities in Russia and exported to countries in the Middle East, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia.

Investing in the company's development will not only contribute to increasing production capacity and creating new jobs, but also to strengthening Cheboksary's position as the country's leading electrical engineering cluster. This new stage of development will allow us to expand our capabilities, increase production volumes, and enhance our competitiveness in the Russian and international markets
