NEC.High Voltage Solutions
The NEC.High Voltage Solutions division, part of the NEC Group, has received a positive assessment from the certification commission of Rosseti PJSC for horizontally rotating disconnectors rated for 330 kV and 500 kV. The equipment is recommended for use at facilities of Russia’s power grid infrastructure.
The 330 kV and 500 kV disconnectors are proprietary designs developed by NEC.High Voltage Solutions. Their production is organized at the company’s manufacturing site in Yekaterinburg, with serial production underway since 2023. During this period, more than 100 330 kV disconnectors have been supplied to power industry facilities in the Republic of Belarus, providing the company with practical experience in operating the equipment.
The range of disconnectors is designed for operation in three-phase AC networks with a frequency of 50 Hz. It includes versions with rated currents ranging from 630 to 4,000 A and short-time withstand currents of 40 and 50 kA.
As part of the certification process, the disconnectors were confirmed to comply with the requirements of GOST R 52726-2007 and the industry standard STO 56947007-29.130.10.077-2011. The positive assessment by Rosseti PJSC confirms that the equipment can be used at facilities of Russia’s power grid infrastructure.
The 330–500 kV disconnectors were the first proprietary products developed by the NEC.High Voltage Solutions division. Obtaining certification from Rosseti PJSC marks an important milestone in the development of NEC’s high-voltage equipment portfolio and opens up new opportunities for the company to participate in power grid infrastructure projects across Russia.
