The Kaluga-based plant Electroshield-K° (a member of the NEC Group) has delivered a complete set of current transformers for CHPP-22 (PJSC Mosenergo). The power plant supplies electricity and heat to the southeastern districts of Moscow, the city of Dzerzhinsky, and the Lyuberetsky District of Moscow Oblast.

CHPP-22 plays a system-critical role in the region’s industrial infrastructure. In addition to generating electricity and thermal energy, the plant supplies process steam to the Moscow Oil Refinery and several major industrial enterprises in the Lyuberetsky District, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of their technological processes.

The supplied TV-EK M1 type current transformers are integrated into the power transformer assembly and provide accurate transformation of current parameters for commercial metering systems, relay protection, and automated control of station operating modes.

Improved measurement accuracy and enhanced stability of protection systems directly contribute to the reliability of power supply to consumers. This enables efficient load management, reduces the risk of emergency outages, and ensures stable equipment operation under fluctuating consumption patterns. As a result, the quality and continuity of electricity and heat supply to both residential and industrial consumers in the region are significantly improved.
