Electroshield‑K°
The Kaluga‑based plant Electroshield‑K° (part of the NEC Group) has summarised its production performance for 2025. During the reporting period, the enterprise manufactured over 70 000 measuring transformers and carried out approximately 4 000 shipments of equipment for energy and industrial facilities in Russia and abroad.
A significant factor in ensuring stable production output was the development of the production infrastructure. In 2025, an automatic line for manufacturing magnetic cores was commissioned. This enhanced the level of automation and ensured consistent parameters of the manufactured products.
Among the key projects of the year was the supply of measuring transformers for the pilot‑demonstration power unit BREST‑OD‑300, which is being implemented within the framework of the federal project Breakthrough by Rosatom State Corporation. The equipment supports the operation of metering, diagnostics, and relay protection systems, thereby increasing the overall stability and safety of the complex’s key technological processes.
A separate focus was the implementation of international projects. In 2025, Electroshield‑K° manufactured measuring transformers for the generator conductors of the third power unit at the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant (Turkey). The equipment was designed to meet the plant’s requirements and underwent an extensive series of tests, confirming compliance with both Russian and international standards.
By the end of 2025, the Electroshield‑K° plant maintained steady production rates and continued the systematic development of engineering competencies aimed at delivering strategically important energy projects.
