Transformers
Current transformers manufactured by Electroshield-K° (part of the NEC Group) are in operation at Surgutskaya GRES-2, a branch of Unipro PJSC. It is the largest thermal power plant in Russia.
The equipment is used in systems for measuring and monitoring electrical parameters. The transformers are designed to operate under high current loads and in continuous-duty mode. The technical solutions ensure measurement accuracy and reliable operation of secondary circuits, which is critically important for the stable performance of generating equipment.
The project was implemented in compliance with the plant’s technical requirements and applicable industry standards. All current transformers have undergone a full cycle of factory testing and are ready for long-term operation as part of the power infrastructure.
The implementation of the project confirms the reliability of Electroshield-K° products and their suitability for use at facilities with enhanced operational requirements.
