Enhim has started industrial supplies of tricresyl phosphate

Enhim (part of the NEC Group) has shipped more than 2 tonnes of tricresyl phosphate (TCP), marking the launch of a new production line. The first recipients of the product are manufacturers of hydraulic fluids.
Tricresyl phosphate is used as a key component in the production of synthetic turbine oils and hydraulic fluids for aircraft, as well as in the construction of jet engine turbines. Among the product’s properties are high wear resistance of the finished products, resistance to temperature fluctuations, climatic impacts, and fungal damage. As part of flame‑retardant additives, TCP reduces the flammability of plastics, rubber, varnishes, and hydraulic fluids. This product belongs to the class of halogen‑free flame retardants and also has plasticising and lubricating properties.
The launch of tricresyl phosphate production is part of Enhim’s strategy to replace imported components and provide domestic enterprises with affordable, high‑quality materials.
It should be recalled that, in response to the growing demand from the high‑tech industry, Enhim began large‑scale production in March of this year not only of tricresyl phosphate but also of another strategically important product – triethyl phosphate. Both product lines are included in the company’s long‑term development programme.
