Enhim supplied fire‑resistant turbine oil to major GRES plants in the Southern Urals and Bashkortostan
Enhim
Enhim (part of the NEC Group) has successfully completed the supply of fire‑resistant turbine oil to the Iriklinskaya and Karmanovskaya State District Power Plants (GRES). Approximately 20 tonnes of high‑quality product have been shipped under contracts with JSC Inter RAO — Electrogeneratsiya and LLC Bashkir Generating Company.

The fire‑resistant turbine oil will ensure uninterrupted and safe operation of the main and auxiliary equipment of the power plant’s turbine units. Enhim’s product will be used in turbine control systems, which is critical for maintaining the stability of power units in areas with high thermal loads.

As a reminder, the Iriklinskaya GRES, which operates 26 facilities (including 8 power units and a hydroelectric power station), is the most powerful power plant in the Southern Urals, with an installed capacity of 2 482.5 MW. The plant supplies electricity to the Orenburg and Chelyabinsk regions, and also exports power to Kazakhstan. In turn, the Karmanovskaya GRES is considered the flagship of the Bashkortostan energy system: it is the most powerful condensing thermal power plant in the republic. It accounts for approximately 45 % of the electricity supplied to the unified grid by the Bashkir Generating Company.
