Every third transformer in Russia is manufactured by the "Electroshield-K°" plant

The Kaluga-based "Electroshield-K°" plant (part of the "NEC" Group) delivered over 70,000 transformers to energy and industrial facilities across the country in the first eleven months of 2025. The plant's equipment is used at most Russian power generation facilities, including all nuclear power plants, as well as at international facilities.

The plant's products are in demand due to their high reliability and precision. All transformers undergo a mandatory set of tests, ensuring the correct operation of metering systems, relay protection, and process control systems at facilities with stringent operational reliability requirements.

Significant supply volumes are achieved through the consistent development of its production facilities. This year, the plant commissioned an automated production line for magnetic cores, a key component of a transformer. The new equipment has enabled automation of the most complex step—the precise winding of thin steel tape—doubling magnetic core production volumes and improving product quality.

These eleven-month results demonstrate "Electroshield-K°'s" significant contribution to ensuring the technological stability of the country's energy and industrial infrastructure, and confirm the trust of customers both in Russia and abroad.
"These delivery results reflect the plant's expertise in the production of high-precision transformer products and confirm our ability to fulfill orders for projects of varying complexity. We pay special attention to technological development, because equipment reliability begins at the production stage," noted Gaik Gasparyan, General Director of "Electroshield-K°" LLC.
