NEFT 4.0 Congress
Incontrol (part of the NEС Group) participated in the NEFT 4.0 Congress on Digitalization of the Russian Oil and Gas Industry, which took place on March 16–17 in St. Petersburg. The event brought together top managers from oil refineries, oil and gas companies, and IT companies to discuss current industry challenges.
The business program focused on practical experience in import substitution. Artem Kononov, Deputy General Director of Incontrol, presented a report on how, over ten years, the company built an automation and security system for fuel and energy complex facilities based on the Russian INKONT software and hardware suite.
INKONT software and hardware suite is a completely domestic ecosystem of products created to address automation and security issues at industrial facilities. The suite was built around four principles: reliability, safety, efficiency, and technological sovereignty. Today, he has over 40 projects under his belt for import substitution of automated process control systems and implementations at new facilities, including full-scale solutions at thermal power plants and integration with gas turbines from leading global manufacturers (Siemens, GE, Alstom, and others).
His presentation focused on the system's technical capabilities: fast loop cycle support from 1–2 ms, fault-tolerant architecture, SIL3 safety level, and scalability to 50,000 signals in a single system.
Artem Kononov also noted that INCONTROL is part of the NEK Group, has its own production facilities, and a history spanning over 30 years. The company is continuously developing its products, which have already become the standard for many critical facilities.
