Moselectroshield
Construction of the third phase of the Moselectroshield plant (part of the NEC Group) continues in Kovrov, being carried out by the eV‑group holding company on behalf of the NEC Group. As part of the project, a new two‑storey building with an administrative and utility block will be constructed. It will house the assembly of metal‑enclosed switchgear (MV switchgear / КРУ) and low‑voltage switchgear assemblies (НКУ). The facility’s area is 15.5 thousand square metres.
The project is aimed at increasing production output, promoting import substitution, and, in the long term, developing export capabilities. Construction work on the third phase of the plant is being carried out in two shifts. More than a hundred construction workers and dozens of pieces of equipment are involved on a daily basis.
Nikolay Shemyakin, General Director of Moselectroshield, emphasised that the company is developing consistently by investing in modern technologies and human resources. According to him, the new building will expand the plant’s production capacity and create additional jobs.
Commissioning of the workshop is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026.
