MosElektroshchit (part of the NEС Group) donated electrical engineering materials to the Kovrov Industrial and Humanitarian College (KPGK) for exams in electrical installation. Students began taking exams on real equipment on June 23.

The college will also soon receive a set of modern electrical equipment, including a complete switchgear cabinet (KRU) and benchtop electrical installation samples. This equipment will enable demonstration exams in accordance with the new federal state educational standards (FSES), which came into effect this year.

According to new requirements fr om the Russian Ministry of Education, final certification for vocational skills must be conducted on existing equipment used in a production environment. The products donated by MosElektroshchit are industrial samples and will be used during exam sessions. The collaboration between MosElektroshchit and the Kovrov Industrial and Humanitarian College has been ongoing for many years. KPGK students annually complete internships at the company, and college graduates join the company's staff.

In addition to providing technical equipment, MosElektroshchit specialists will participate in the examination committee, ensuring that the assessment of students' competencies is as closely aligned with the requirements of modern manufacturing as possible.

"The equipment transfer marks the transition of Kovrov's secondary vocational education system to a qualitatively new level of practical training, wh ere businesses are directly involved in the certification of their future employees," noted the college's director, Alexander Yudintsev. "We are grateful to MosElektroshchit for such effective assistance and the opportunity to administer exams in strict compliance with new educational standards."

"The Vladimir Region is currently experiencing a severe labor shortage, and our company is interested in recruiting well-trained specialists who can operate our equipment from the very beginning. The new examination standards are aimed precisely at this, which is why we readily supported the college's initiative. The company's experts will not only be able to assess students' knowledge but also identify the potential of their future colleagues."
