"Moselektroshield" provides power to Kuryanovsk wastewater treatment plant with modern Russian Equipment
Moselektroshield
"Moselektroshield" (part of the "NEK" Group) has successfully completed connection and equipment delivery for the electrical substation at the Kuryanovsk Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project was implemented as part of a large-scale urban infrastructure modernization program and is aimed at ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the facility.
The delivery included an RTP-10/0.4 kVA distribution transformer substation and two modular complete transformer substations in a reinforced concrete enclosure with a capacity of 2 x 1600 kVA. The key component of the substations' equipment was the K-131-E gas-insulated switchgear (GIS).
The Kuryanovsk treatment plant is one of the largest water treatment facilities in Moscow. It covers an area of 160 hectares and has a design capacity of 2.2 million cubic meters of wastewater per day. The complex serves residents of the Southern, Southwestern, Southeastern, and other districts of the capital.
Water treatment here is a complex, multi-stage process that includes mechanical and biochemical treatment, and ultraviolet disinfection. An uninterrupted power supply is critical for the operation of all process chains - from water pumps to aeration systems and ultraviolet lamps.
The supply of modern equipment from "Moselektroshchit" increases the reliability of the facility's power supply. This, in turn, contributes to further improvements in the quality of water purification and a reduction in the anthropogenic load on the Moscow River, where the water is returned after deep purification.

"The K-131-E GIS offers the optimal combination of gas-insulated technology, full compliance with strict Russian standards, modern digital control, and design flexibility. Its key advantage is its compact size. They are ideal for the construction and modernization of 110-150 kV substations in Russia"
