NARTIS
he 8th Interregional Professional Skills Competition for employees of electricity metering units from PJSC Rosseti Centre and PJSC Rosseti Centre and Privolzhye has concluded in Obninsk, having taken place from 30 May to 5 June.
Twenty teams from various regions of Russia competed for the title of the best. One of the key stages of the competition was identifying signs of unauthorised interference with electricity metering devices.
Specifically for the tournament, NARTIS manufactured 40 intelligent electricity meters (W113). Some of these devices were deliberately configured to simulate typical abnormal situations.
Participants’ task was to identify metering devices with altered parameters and detect signs of unauthorised interference. Such competencies are in high demand in the everyday work of power engineers – they help detect violations in a timely manner, ensure correct electricity metering, and improve the reliability of equipment operation.
Specialists from the NARTIS Quality Department provided consultations to participants on how the metering devices work, while the performance of competition tasks was evaluated by Dmitry Okun, R&D Director of LLC NEC TECH, who was part of the judging panel.
The winners of the tournament were: Kalugaenergo – 1st place; Kurskenergo – 2nd place; Yarenergo – 3rd place. The top teams received special prizes from NARTIS – branded corporate merchandise.
As a leading Russian manufacturer of intelligent electricity metering devices, NARTIS regularly supports industry‑specific professional skills competitions.
