Components and Intelligent Technologies
NARTIS (part of the “Components and Intelligent Technologies” division of the NEC Group), a leading Russian manufacturer of smart metering devices and charging infrastructure, has supplied 23 fast charging stations for the new electric charging complexes of EZ RusHydro JSC, which have opened along the M‑11 high‑speed highway (“Neva”). The complexes are located at the 63rd kilometre of the route in the direction from Saint Petersburg to Moscow and at the 75th kilometre in the direction towards Saint Petersburg.
The project was implemented by EZ RusHydro JSC jointly with Avtodor Group and Rosseti Moscow Region PJSC. The charging complexes have become part of the multifunctional road service areas being developed by Avtodor‑Development LLC, and are designed to make trips between the country’s two largest cities more comfortable for electric vehicle owners.
For the project, NARTIS supplied two types of charging stations: the C150 model with a capacity of 150 kW and the C240 model with a capacity of 210 kW. The latter are intended not only for fast charging of passenger electric cars but also for electric buses, which allows the infrastructure to be used for both private and public electric transport.
The M‑11 project has expanded the company’s portfolio of infrastructure projects. Today, NARTIS charging stations are used to charge public electric transport in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, operate within the 3A chain of roadside hotels, and are deployed at industrial, corporate, and urban facilities across various regions of Russia.
The development of a federal network of electric charging infrastructure lays the foundation for the growth of the electric transport market, increases the availability of fast chargers on intercity routes, and promotes the integration of modern Russian technologies into the transport sector.
