NARTIS
NARTIS (part of the NEС Group), a leading Russian manufacturer of smart metering devices and EV charging infrastructure, has summarized its environmental performance results. The company not only significantly increased the volume of waste sent for recycling, but also supported a number of urban greening initiatives.
By the end of 2025, the company had sent 674.3 tonnes of waste for recycling, nearly doubling the previous year’s figure (473.6 tonnes in 2024). The positive trend is attributed to increased production volumes and improvements in the separate waste collection system. The company maintains strict waste accounting procedures and continues to expand the list of materials transferred to specialized operators for safe disposal and reintroduction into secondary use. Materials sent for recycling include polymer materials, cardboard, paper, scrap metal, electronic components and equipment, fiberglass laminate, as well as used oils, filters, and batteries.
NARTIS’s environmental agenda extends beyond its production facilities. In 2025, company employees actively participated in the improvement of the urban environment in Cherepovets. As part of the “Green Charge” initiative, employees joined local residents in planting blue spruce trees in Komsomolsky Park. The company also supported the commemorative “Lilac of Victory” project: in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, 257 lilac bushes were planted at seven locations across the city.
The company will continue to develop its environmental practices and implement modern solutions in sustainable production and corporate social responsibility, viewing this area as an important element of its long-term development strategy.
