NARTIS
Microelectronics-2026
NARTIS, part of NEC Group’s NEC Components and Smart Technologies division, presented its own components for smart electricity meters at the Microelectronics 2026 exhibition. Production of these components has been localized at the company’s facility in Cherepovets. The company also showcased new meter models.
In July 2026, NARTIS launched a new 4,000 sq. m. production workshop in Cherepovets, where key meter components – relays, shunts, current transformers, and magnetic cores – began to be manufactured. This has increased the level of localization of the company’s flagship products and reduced dependence on supplies of foreign components.
The project received RUB 600 million in investment and created 230 new jobs.
The booth also featured new models of smart electricity meters.
NARTIS-R1-M is a single-phase smart meter designed for commercial and technical electricity metering. It supports up to eight tariff rates and is equipped with built-in optical port, RS-485, and Bluetooth interfaces, as well as support for PLC, GSM/GPRS, LTE, NB-IoT, ZigBee, and LoRaWAN modules.
NARTIS-R3-M is a three-phase smart meter designed for electricity metering at facilities with enhanced requirements for functionality and integration into smart metering systems.
I300-W135 is an electricity meter designed for use as part of smart infrastructure, enabling data transmission and integration with energy monitoring systems.
NARTIS is part of NEC Group and specializes in smart metering equipment and charging infrastructure for electric transport. The company’s plant in Cherepovets produces more than 2 million meters annually and also manufactures microcontrollers, integrated circuits, communication modules, data transmission devices, and charging stations. One of the company’s key advantages is the high level of production localization and the development of proprietary domestic technological solutions.

Developing our own component base and localizing key components is not only a production objective for us, but also a strategic priority. The launch of the new workshop in Cherepovets and the introduction of new meter models enable us to consistently strengthen our technological independence, ensure stable product quality for our customers, and respond more quickly to market demand.
