NARTIS, a leading Russian manufacturer of smart metering, control, and radio-electronic equipment and part of NEC Group’s Components and Smart Technologies division, has successfully completed an audit of its technical documentation and production processes as part of the SERTENERGO certification. The independent assessment confirmed that NARTIS smart water meters comply with the applicable requirements.
The SERTENERGO certification was conducted by experts from the St. Petersburg State Budgetary Institution “Energy Saving Center” under the supervision of the St. Petersburg Committee for Energy and Engineering Infrastructure. The specialists assessed the products manufactured, technical and design documentation, the company’s testing facilities, and its quality management system.
Russian legislation does not require mandatory certification of water meters or audits of their production. NARTIS independently initiated an assessment of its products and production processes at its facility in Cherepovets, Vologda Region.
According to the experts’ findings, NARTIS-SVI smart multi-jet and turbine water meters comply with the requirements of state standards and regulatory documents.
The embedded software for NARTIS smart water meters was developed by the NEC.TECH Research and Development Center, part of the NEC Group. It enables remote meter reading, monitoring of digital communication interfaces, and device configuration. The software is included in the Russian Ministry of Digital Development’s Register of Domestic Software.
NARTIS-SVI water meters are available in various configurations, differing in interfaces, accuracy class, diameter, dimensions, and weight. The devices can be used independently or as part of information and measurement systems and information and computing systems for monitoring and metering utility resources.
