NARTIS to supply over 450 charging station control units for Moscow’s electric buses
NARTIS
NARTIS (part of the NEC.Components and Intelligent Technologies division of the NEC Group) has completed the first stage of delivering control units for ultra‑fast charging stations (UFCS) to GUP Mosgortrans. The customer has received the first 47 units. The total supply volume under the contract will exceed 450 units.
The new NARTIS control units will significantly increase the number of charging stations in the city. The device is a control system for UFCS that converts AC to DC for charging electric buses. The solution, with a power rating of 300–400 kW, supports modular expansion and is designed to operate under high service loads. UFCS units are used in Moscow’s public transport network as the primary power source for KamAZ and LiAZ electric buses.
The equipment and charging technology supply project for GUP Mosgortrans is already the second contract NARTIS has secured in the public transport charging infrastructure segment. Previously, the company supplied NARTIS‑S90 ultra‑fast charging stations for MAZ electric buses to SPb GUP Passazhiravtotrans, supporting the development of electric transport infrastructure in Saint Petersburg.
In addition to urban public transport, NARTIS solutions are also used in the commercial segment. The company’s charging stations are installed at the 3A chain of roadside hotels, enabling comfortable electric vehicle travel, as well as at facilities operated by RN‑Energo, including tourist infrastructure near Lake Ladoga. Furthermore, NARTIS equipment is in operation at parking areas of shopping and business centres, hotels and other commercial facilities across various regions of Russia.
Developing the charging infrastructure product line is one of the company’s strategic priorities. NARTIS is consistently expanding its range of domestically produced charging solutions for public transport, corporate customers and electric vehicle owners, offering equipment with a high level of localisation.
