PetroChemSkills 2026
The NEC Group is a strategic partner of the 7th Open Industry Professional Skills Championship organized by SIBUR, NeftekHimSkills / PetroChemSkills 2026. The Group’s companies are taking part in the competitions and business program and are presenting their technological solutions at the championship venues.
Unitel Engineering specialists are representing NEC in the competition: Pavel Dmitriev is competing in the “Digital Substation” category, while Maxim Rastorguev is participating as a compatriot expert. The competitions will take place in Tobolsk from September 14 to 18.
Experts from the Group’s companies are also participating in the championship’s business program. Key topics include automation and digitalization of power facilities, relay protection, high-voltage equipment, electrification of industrial transport, and turbine oil solutions. The specialists will present their proprietary developments and share their experience in applying them at industrial and power facilities.
Some of these solutions will be on display at the PetroChemSkills exhibition. The showcase features developments by Unitel Engineering, NARTIS, and RTK-ELECTRO in relay protection and automation, smart electricity metering, telemetry and telemechanics, as well as cast-resin insulated busbars.
In 2026, PetroChemSkills is being held in Tyumen, Tobolsk, and Nizhnekamsk across 20 professional skills categories. The championship brings together more than 250 participants and around 270 experts from industrial companies and specialized educational institutions.

We are participating in the championship as a strategic partner for the first time. Our companies have been cooperating with SIBUR for many years, and more than 15 projects for the holding’s enterprises are currently underway. The championship gives us an opportunity to present our latest developments and exchange experience with colleagues, while allowing students and schoolchildren to learn more about modern engineering professions and NEC companies as potential employers.
