NEC Group establishes high‑voltage solutions division – NEC.HVS
NEC NEC. High‑voltage solutions
The NEC Group has begun transitioning to a divisional management model. The first step was to merge the Lipetsk High‑Voltage Equipment Plant (LZVO) and H Energy into the NEC. High‑voltage solutions (NEC.HVS) division. The new structure will combine the production and engineering competencies of the companies in the high‑voltage equipment segment.

In addition, several other specialised divisions will be established, namely: NEC. Electrical engineering solutions (NEC.EES); NEC. Components and Intelligent technologies (NEC.CIT); NEC. automation and communication systems (NEC.ACS); NEC. Industrial chemistry; NEC. Metal structures. The Group’s existing unified scientific and technical centre remains NEC TECH.

The LZVO, which is under construction in Lipetsk, will focus on manufacturing gas‑insulated switchgear (GIS) with voltages up to 500 kV. An in‑house accredited testing laboratory will also be established at the site.

H Energy has been designing and manufacturing high‑voltage equipment for power facilities for over 30 years. The company produces switching equipment, instrument transformers, bushings and communication systems, and also provides after‑sales service for its products.

The merger of the enterprises will help establish more coordinated work in the development, production and supply of high‑voltage equipment, as well as expand the range of integrated solutions offered to the industry.
