NEC Group presents Its solutions at the Corporate presentation day of PJSC Rosseti Lenenergo

On 26 March 2026, at the Training Complex of PJSC Rosseti Lenenergo, the NEC Group showcased its latest developments in the fields of commercial and technical electricity metering, energy conservation, and energy efficiency improvement.

The central theme of the event was “Innovative Energy-Saving Technologies in Distribution Networks: Loss Control.” In a series of roundtable discussions, participants explored cutting-edge solutions aimed at enhancing metering accuracy and power quality, as well as their prospective implementation within the power grid infrastructure.

NARTIS — a leading Russian manufacturer of intelligent measurement and control systems — together with the NEC.TECH scientific and technical centre (both part of the NEC Group), presented a full range of single-phase and three-phase split-type intelligent electricity meters and a telemechanics system.

The new NARTIS-R1-C and NARTIS-R3-C split-design meters feature a fundamentally new housing design that enables the use of a unified communication module. The meters’ circuitry and structural solutions allow for hot-swapping the communication module — without disconnecting power or removing the meter from the pole. This significantly simplifies maintenance for utility personnel and reduces downtime when switching communication channels during upgrades or modernisation of Automated Metering and Control Systems (AMCS, AMR, or IEMS).

The telemechanics system presented by NARTIS enables remote control, data collection, and transmission of commercial metering data and power quality parameters. It also provides information for pre-fault diagnostics and condition-based maintenance planning. Data exchange and control command security are ensured by built-in protection mechanisms for communication channels.
The solutions presented by the NEC Group open up new opportunities for power grid companies and regional authorities: billing transparency improves, operational costs decrease, and the development of digital infrastructure becomes a practical tool for enhancing reliability and energy efficiency.
