NEC.High-Voltage Solutions
NEC.High-Voltage Solutions division has received a positive decision from the Certification Commission of Rosseti PJSC for VGK-110 high-voltage column-type SF₆ circuit breakers. The equipment has been recommended for use at power grid facilities with a voltage class of 110 kV.
One of the key features of the VGK-110 is its ability to operate reliably at temperatures as low as -60 °C. Currently, it is the only Russian column-type SF₆ circuit breaker designed to operate at such temperatures. This feature makes the equipment suitable for regions with challenging climatic conditions.
The VGK-110 was developed and is manufactured at the NEC.High-Voltage Solutions facility in Yekaterinburg. The equipment complies with the requirements of GOST R 52565-2006.
The positive decision from Rosseti expands the potential use of the VGK-110 at Russian power grid facilities and complements NEC Group’s portfolio of certified high-voltage solutions. The company is also working to include the circuit breaker in the Register of Russian Industrial Products.
