The scientific and technical centre NEC TECH (part of the NEC Group) has received a high assessment in the ECG-rating of Russian companies, confirmed by a certificate of the advanced level «AA». Based on the results of the comprehensive assessment, NEC TECH scored 98 points, confirming the status of a socially and environmentally responsible company.
The national standard «Business Reputation Index (ECG-Rating)» came into effect on 1 February 2024. Today, the ECG-rating is one of the criteria by which the state evaluates a company’s reliability based on a comprehensive assessment of the business reputation. The rating calculation is based on an open methodology, including 47 criteria divided into three main areas: environmental safety, personnel policy and interaction with the state. When compiling the rating, the following are taken into account: use of the best available technologies, quality of the social benefits package for employees, implementation of environmental and charity projects, and social investments in the regions of presence. Companies participating in the assessment are assigned four levels: basic, intermediate, advanced and leader. In the rating, compliance levels are marked with Latin letters – fr om the lowest mark C to the highest AAA. Obtaining this quality mark confirms that the company’s work meets the strictest criteria of transparency and responsibility.
To date, the rating covers more than 7 million business entities in Russia. Data on all companies participating in the rating is available online on the official website.
A high level of the ECG-rating is a serious competitive advantage for business, which opens up new opportunities for participation in major infrastructure and government projects, wh ere compliance with ECG criteria is becoming a mandatory requirement.
