NEC.TECH provides training for specialists of an electric grid company in Yekaterinburg
NEC.TECH
Specialists from NEC.TECH, part of NEC Group, are providing training for employees of Energoshalya, an electric grid company in the Sverdlovsk Region, on the operation of NARTIS smart electricity meters. The program includes both theoretical training and practical sessions at the NARTIS plant in Cherepovets.
The training program consists of two stages: theoretical and practical. During the first stage, NEC.TECH specialists held an online session covering the full range of capabilities of NARTIS smart electricity meters and explained how to work with the meters’ software for collecting and subsequently processing electricity consumption data.
During the second stage, representatives of Energoshalya will undergo practical training at the NARTIS plant in Cherepovets, part of NEC Group’s Components and Smart Technologies division. The plant’s specialists will demonstrate the assembly process and conduct practical sessions on equipment installation and connection. They will also explain the procedures for scheduled inspections and maintenance, demonstrate how to diagnose common faults and the methods used to eliminate them. Particular attention will be paid to safety requirements for the installation and operation of the meters.
The main customers for NARTIS smart electricity meters are grid companies, guaranteeing suppliers and energy sales companies that install metering devices for residential consumers and integrate them into their automated commercial metering systems, as well as other organizations that purchase meters as part of digitalization programs in the housing and utilities sector and infrastructure projects in residential buildings.
The organization of training for customer company specialists on the operation of NARTIS metering devices is part of the corporate program for supporting and servicing products manufactured by NEC Group companies.
Energoshalya is an electric grid company that has been successfully operating in the electricity transmission and capacity services market for more than 12 years. The company has a tariff approved by the Regional Energy Commission of the Sverdlovsk Region for these services. Its technical facilities and equipment, highly qualified personnel, and well-established cooperation with power supply companies, including Sverdlovenergosbyt PJSC, and electric grid companies, including IDGC of Urals PJSC, enable the company to supply electricity to consumers in compliance with all applicable standards for quality, reliability and safety.

Training energy company specialists to work with NARTIS metering devices is a mutually beneficial process. Customers gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire process – from theory and software operation to practical installation and diagnostics at the plant. For us as the developer, it also provides valuable feedback from professionals who work with the equipment every day. This enables us to improve the product while helping our partners confidently implement digital solutions. Direct communication between developers, manufacturers and users is a key advantage of this format.
