Developed by the "NEC.TECH" Research and Development Center (part of the "NEC" Group), the HMISKO application software, designed for use with PKUS SKO UPASK devices in automation, control, and monitoring systems for industrial and energy facilities, has been added to the Unified Register of Russian Software of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media of the Russian Federation. This status confirms the software's domestic origin and expands its applicability at strategic facilities.
HMISKO is a monitoring and parameterization application software designed to configure emergency signal and command transmission devices (ESCTDs) in PKUS SKO version 3 relay protection and automation (RPA) systems, as well as to determine the current system status and read device event loggers.
The main functions of the HMISKO monitoring and parameterization application software developed by "NEC.TECH" are: equipment configuration; current status monitoring; reading event loggers; Configuration and data log storage; real-time display of up-to-date information; built-in security and authentication mechanisms to prevent unauthorized access; and extensive integration capabilities.
Implementation of HMISKO helps solve specific problems at industrial and energy facilities:
• Increases equipment maintenance efficiency. The software minimizes configuration errors and ensures timely monitoring of device status.
• Optimizes workflows. In compliance with the requirements for discrete inputs of relay protection and automation devices in force in the Russian electric power industry, HMISKO helps reduce response times to failures and improve the overall reliability of the automated control system.
• Reduces maintenance costs by automating monitoring and configuration processes.
The inclusion of the HMISKO application software developed by "NEC.TECH" in the "Monitoring and Control Tools" class in the Russian software registry will allow customers of "NEC" - branded products to use this product in automation, control, and monitoring systems for industrial and energy facilities, as well as during maintenance.
