New Equipment from "Unitel Engineering" Included in the Register of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade
The UNIT-M300 and UNIT-VIP relay protection and automation devices manufactured by Unitel Engineering (part of the Automation and Communication Systems Division of the NEC Group) have been included in the register of Russian industrial products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
UNIT-M300 and UNIT-VIP are the company's new products, with serial production launched in 2026. UNIT-M300 is designed for the protection of electrical equipment and automation of electrical networks with voltages of 6–35 kV, including at highly automated substations. UNIT-VIP is used in 6–20 kV networks and can operate without a separate auxiliary power supply system.
Both devices have passed certification by PJSC Rosseti and are recommended for use at facilities of the electric grid complex.
Inclusion in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia confirms that the equipment meets the requirements for Russian-made industrial products established by Decree No. 719 of the Government of the Russian Federation dated July 17, 2015.
The availability of register entries makes it possible to confirm the Russian origin of the devices when participating in public and municipal procurement, including projects with requirements for the use of domestic equipment. In addition, the company is now eligible for state support measures provided for by law.
