"NTZMK" Confirms the High Quality of Its Paint and Varnish Coatings

The Nizhny Tagil plant successfully completed another round of pilot testing of paint and varnish materials. Selecting high-quality protective anti-corrosion coatings is an important step in the production of reliable and durable metal structures.

With the anti-corrosion coating market constantly evolving and new domestic developments emerging, "NTZMK" (part of the "NEC" Group) pays special attention to the quality control of protective materials. Monthly testing allows the company to select optimal solutions to ensure the reliability and durability of its products. Both new coatings and those already well-established and widely used at "NTZMK" undergo systematic testing.

After another 14 days, specialists perform a second inspection of the paint coating and measure adhesion—the strength of the bond between the materials. The bond strength between the paint film and the surface being painted is assessed—one of the most important properties. Next, the test samples are labeled and stored outdoors. Only then do the experts issue a conclusion on the quality of the paints and varnishes used in production, their reliability, and durability in various climatic conditions.

Such regular testing allows "NTZMK" to fulfill orders to a high standard and meet the most stringent industry standards.
Paint and varnish materials are applied to prepared samples of metal structures. "After the paint coating has cured, the dry film thickness is measured and visual inspection for defects is performed".
