NTZMK
NTZMK (part of NEС Group) has commenced production of metal structures for the buildings of two new power units at the Kharanorskaya GRES (PJSC Inter RAO). Each unit will be equipped with modern Russian-made steam power equipment. The combined capacity of the two units will reach 460 MW.
In total, NTZMK will deliver over 15,000 tonnes of metal structures for the construction of the power units. All structures will be factory-coated with fire-protective material – a technological step that will significantly reduce the time required for construction and installation works.
Kharanorskaya GRES is the largest power facility in Zabaykalsky Krai, commissioned in 1995. Today, its installed capacity stands at 665 MW. The main consumers of its electricity are mining enterprises, regional railway transport, and agricultural facilities.
The implementation of this investment project, valued at approximately 172 billion rubles, will increase the plant’s capacity by 70%, enhance the reliability of the regional power system, and create around 300 new jobs.
