NTZMK
NTZMK, part of the Metal Structures and Facilities division of NEC Group, shipped more than 30,000 tonnes of welded steel structures in the first seven months of 2026. The bulk of the products is used in the construction and refurbishment of major power generation facilities across Russia. The company has been involved in projects to modernize the country’s energy infrastructure since 2024.
NTZMK is increasing its production capacity through a large-scale technical modernization program. A laser cutting system for structural steel has been commissioned in the fabrication area, increasing the workshop’s output by 13 tonnes per day. Production capacity has also been enhanced with two automated welding robots and a high-speed VISTA milling and drilling machine for processing oversized beams and columns. The new equipment has doubled process productivity by enabling round-the-clock operation.
The next stage of the modernization program will be the construction of a new painting and loading workshop with an area of 7,200 m². It will feature an automated painting line designed to increase productivity and expand the company’s capacity to produce finished steel structures. Investment in the project will amount to approximately RUB 2 billion, with commissioning scheduled for Q4 2027.
The comprehensive modernization program lays the foundation for the company’s further growth. By 2030, NTZMK plans to increase its annual steel structure output to 50,000 tonnes. Today, the company’s products are supplied across Russia, including for strategically important facilities in Neryungri. At the same time, NTZMK is expanding its export business, with steel structures already being shipped to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
