NTZMK has summarised the results of the production competition between workshops based on the performance in the first quarter of 2026. The project, launched in autumn 2025, united the departments in a competition for the title of best in two categories – core production and support production. The winners were determined according to a comprehensive scoring system, which included five key indicators: fulfilment of production plans, compliance with occupational health and safety requirements, adherence to technological discipline, product quality, and implementation of lean manufacturing principles.

Based on the competition results, the winners are:

• in the «Best Workshop of Core Production» nomination – the Metal Structures Workshop;

• in the «Best Workshop of Support Production» nomination – the Repair and Construction Unit.

In addition, the leading teams were awarded not only honourable pennants, but also unique artistic trophies. The Metal Structures Workshop was presented with a rare statuette «Welder» by sculptor Nikolai Gorelikov, and the Repair and Construction Unit received the composition «Beat Swords into Plowshares» by Yevgeny Vuchetich. Both works are executed in the technique of the famous Kasli casting. The symbols of victory will be kept by the winners until the champion title is transferred to the next department.
