RTC‑ELECTRO (part of the NEC Group) has commissioned a hydraulic sheet‑bending press equipped with a computer numerical control (CNC) system at its production site. The new equipment will enhance the precision of manufacturing components for busbars and conductors and expand the company’s production capabilities.
The sheet‑bending press is capable of processing both standard and large‑size workpieces. The CNC system automatically calculates bending parameters based on material characteristics, ensuring machining accuracy of up to ±0.1°. Equipment changeover takes just a few minutes, which increases the flexibility of the production process and enables faster completion of manufacturing tasks.
Prior to commissioning the equipment, RTC‑ELECTRO specialists underwent training on the control system and prepared the production facility for operation of the new complex.
Commissioning the new equipment marks another stage in the enterprise’s modernisation programme. The upgrade of the machine park aims to expand production capacity, reduce product manufacturing lead times and further increase the level of localisation of component production within the NEC Group.
