RTC‑ELECTRO Supplies Busducts for Norilsk CHPP‑3
RTC‑ELECTRO Supply
RTC‑ELECTRO (a member of the NEC Group) has completed another delivery of electrical equipment as part of the reconstruction of Norilsk CHPP‑3. 6 kV busducts have been shipped for transformer 22T at the combined heat and power plant.

Norilsk CHPP‑3 is one of the key power facilities in the region. The plant supplies heat and electricity to the B.Yu. Kolesnikov Nadezhdinsky Metallurgical Plant, as well as to the Kayerkan district.

The modernisation of the CHPP is being carried out in stages. Earlier, RTC‑ELECTRO had already supplied TKLS‑type busducts (6 kV, 2 500 A). The equipment is used to transmit electricity from transformers 1TR, 21T, 5TR and 24T to metal‑enclosed switchgear (MV switchgear / КРУ). As part of the project, outdated air‑insulated busducts were replaced with modern cast‑resin insulated units.

The equipment has been installed and successfully commissioned. The TKLS busducts have demonstrated stable operation in challenging climatic conditions, including significant temperature fluctuations, high humidity and aggressive environment.
