RTC-ELECTRO supplies equipment for the reconstruction of the Melnikovo substation in Baikalsk

RTC-ELECTRO, part of NEC Group’s Electrical Engineering Solutions division, has manufactured and shipped more than 70 meters of TКLS busbar systems for the reconstruction of the 110 kV Melnikovo Substation in Baikalsk, Irkutsk Region.
The equipment will provide electrical connections between power transformers, current-limiting reactors, and transformer bushings – key elements of the substation. The busbar systems were designed by RTC-ELECTRO specialists with consideration for the facility’s parameters and operating conditions.
The design took into account the region’s climatic conditions, including significant temperature fluctuations and high humidity. TКLS series busbar systems are designed to operate at temperatures ranging from -60 to +55 °C and provide a high level of protection against environmental exposure.
The Melnikovo Substation is part of the Baikal Energy Center and contributes to the power supply of Baikalsk and the surrounding areas. RTC-ELECTRO equipment will be used as part of the reconstruction of the power facility.
RTC-ELECTRO manufactures busbar systems and bus ducts for power and industrial facilities. To date, more than 100,000 meters of the company’s equipment have been installed at facilities in Russia and abroad. Completed projects include supplies for power generation facilities, power grid infrastructure, and the petrochemical and mining industries.
