RTC-ELECTRO supplied busbar trunking for the gas processing complex in Ust-Luga
RTC-ELECTRO
RTC-ELECTRO (part of the NEC Group) supplied SHMS EFIBAR busbar trunking for the air separation unit (ASU) substations of the gas processing and liquefaction complex under construction in Ust-Luga.

The project is being implemented by Gazprom and Rusgazdobycha. It is one of the largest gas processing and liquefaction projects in Russia.

The complex will annually process 45 billion cubic meters of gas, producing 13.1 million tons of liquefied natural gas, up to 3.6 million tons of ethane fraction, up to 1.7 million tons of liquefied petroleum gases, and 0.13 million tons of pentane-hexane fraction. The resulting ethane will serve as feedstock for the production of 2.8 million tons of various grades of polyethylene.

The air separation unit is a key component producing industrial gases for natural gas processing and liquefaction. Its power supply requires exceptional reliability. SHMS EFIBAR busbars meet these requirements: they are compact, overload-resistant, and durable.

The equipment supplied by RTC-ELECTRO will ensure the uninterrupted operation of this strategic facility. The first phase is scheduled to launch in 2026.
