Specialists from Unitel Engineering (part of the NEC Group) visited the construction site of the Amur Gas Chemical Complex (AGCC). The key objective of the visit was to monitor project implementation and adherence to equipment delivery schedules.
Company representatives inspected the progress of work at the facilities and met with the client to coordinate further stages of cooperation: installation supervision and commissioning of the E-SCADA power supply management systems.
Unitel Engineering is the turnkey contractor for the implementation of E-SCADA power management systems for pyrolysis units, polyethylene and polypropylene production, and off-site facilities at Amur GCC. Most of the equipment has now been delivered to the site, and specialists have begun installation supervision and commissioning.
Amur GCC will become the world's largest polyethylene and polypropylene production complex, with a total capacity of 2.7 million tons per year. The project, a joint venture between SIBUR and Sinopec, is intended to symbolize the development of the Russian chemical industry.
