In August 2024, commissioning of the first UASK cabinet with SR24 PCUS, manufactured by «Unitel Engineering» LLC, part of the «NEK» Group, was successfully completed at the Kola Nuclear Power Plant. This equipment is designed to transmit anti-emergency automation signals to the Knyazhegubskaya 330 kV substation. The commissioning of two more cabinets is scheduled for late August and September.

The UASK SR24 PCUS is a key element of the anti-emergency automation system, which ensures stable operation of the power system in the event of emergency situations. The equipment allows for the control of the power system operating mode at high rates of parameter change, ensuring reliable operation of the entire system as a whole.

The commissioning of the UASK SR24 PCUS is an important step in the modernization of the Kola Nuclear Power Plant, aimed at increasing the safety and reliability of its operation. The company is confident that this equipment will be a reliable guarantee of stable operation of the nuclear power plant.

The Kola Nuclear Power Plant is the first nuclear power plant built in the harsh conditions of the Far North. It is a symbol of innovation and technological progress, proving that nuclear energy can operate even in the most unfavorable conditions.
