NTZMK
NTZMK (part of the NEC Group) has commissioned a new stand for assembling welded I‑beams. The project’s uniqueness lies in the fact that the equipment was fully designed, manufactured and installed by the company’s own specialists — without engaging external contractors. The stand is designed to handle beams up to 24 metres in length and up to 2.6 metres in width.
A whole team of specialists from the maintenance and repair service worked on creating the stand for assembling welded I‑beams: electromechanics and software engineers. The plant’s employees developed the drawings, as well as electrical and pneumatic diagrams. All necessary metal structures required for assembling the machine were also manufactured in‑house at the plant.
The equipment has been successfully launched and is now in operation. The developers are closely monitoring the process, collecting feedback from staff and making necessary adjustments to the design.
NTZMK is confirming its development strategy as an innovative enterprise, combining large‑scale modernisation with the development of proprietary technologies. The technical re‑equipment of the plant began in spring 2024, when the company joined the industrial NEC Group.
